The name OZUS is a trans-Pacific combination of Australia (OZ) and the United State (US) representing the native countries of its founders.
History
OZUS was formed, by Sherrill and Lance Lenz in 1990, to provide business continuity and security consulting, while serving as missionaries for Mercy Ships.
These processes were noticed by alumni who wanted to implement them, in their own businesses.
OZUS first client was Promise Publishing Inc. in Santa Ana Ca. About 6 months later OZUS had a second client, Industrial Molds in Rockford IL.
The next clients came quickly: Anodizers in San Jose Ca. Erie Plating in Erie Pa. Golden West Communications in Yakama Wa. American Automobile Association (AAA) – Western and Central New York, and others.
OZUS specializes in business continuity security using (ISC)2, ISO 2700x, NIST, National Security Agency guidelines.
OZUS has consulted in United States, Australia, Canada and Mexico.
